- Use a Burst / Barrage spell on the tentaclesKraken stays asleep until you wake all 4 enormous tentacles. The fastest way is a single Burst / Barrage AoE spell — wakes all 4 in one cast.
- Pray MagicOnce awake, Kraken attacks with magic. Protect from Magic tanks the +25 hits.
- Use magic (Trident) — the AFK standardYou fight Kraken from a fixed tile out of melee range, so magic (or ranged) is the practical choice — and its defence level is only 1, so anything hits. A powered staff is the go-to: Trident of the swamp / Sang / Harmonised Surge.
- AFK-friendlyTrident has long enough charge per dose to AFK; just bring food in case prayer drops. Kraken is one of the most chill PvM bosses.
